Representatives of CUPE Local 3034, which represents workers with the Town of Conception Bay South, were on hand at the regular public council meeting this month to greet the mayor and pose for a photography to make the recent signing of a new four year collective agreement. The workers will get raises of 2 per cent this year, and again next year, then raises of 2.5 per cent in 2025 and 2026 for a total of nine per cent.
