The Shoreline News was founded in April 1989 and at over 13,000 copies weekly is the largest circulation newspaper in Newfoundland and Labrador.

We cover nearly all of the Avalon Peninsula, which is home to more than half of Newfoundland’s population, with a special focus on local news, personalities and events in the province’s largest municipalities. We are the PAPER OF RECORD for the communities we serve.

The Shoreline publishes every Monday. Deadline for advertising is Noon Tuesdays on the week of publication. The paper is distributed for free at some 175 newsstands in high profile retail locations throughout St. John’s, Conception Bay South, Paradise and most of the Avalon Peninsula.
