Representatives of the towns of Harbour Grace and Carbonear got together Monday to discuss “joint opportunities.” The session was held at Carbonear Town Hall. “The Town is excited to open this avenue for further dialogue and collaboration with our neighbours,” said Harbour Grace spokesperson Matt McCarthy. On hand for the meeting were, from left: Harbour Grace councillor Terry Barnes, Harbour Grace Town Clerk/Manager Amy Dwyer, Harbour Grace Mayor Don Coombs, Carbonear councillors Danielle Doyle and Chris O’Grady, Carbonear Deputy Mayor Sam Slade, Carbonear councillor Peter Snow and Harbour Grace councillors Randy Wrice and Brendan Chafe.
