Loved the ceremony, but where was the band?

November 11th saw a fantastic turn out for the parade. All the uniformed officers stood so tall displaying their medals so proudly and rightly so. Bless you all.
C.B.S. residents attended, and there were so many, it was great to see.
The only thing missing was a band playing as they marched down the road.
Don’t get me wrong, the drummers were undeniably excellent, but I sure missed the instruments, the band always played.
My rant is, where is the band that was always there on this very special occasion? Did someone in the ranks decide not to ask them? It was disappointing to me. You really didn’t get that euphoric feeling.
Sure would like to know.
