Players with the CBR U13 Renegades All Star Team know the importance of starting the school day in the right direction and that’s why they invested in a breakfast program and cereal drive for the schools they attend, said team spokesperson Kerry Martin. The boys attend schools from Colliers to Topsail and hope to make a big impact this holiday season now through December 11^th with their food collection drive. The team kicked off its charity fundraiser at Robert French Memorial Stadium in Conception Bay South. They’ll also be set up at the Junior League game on December 9th at the CBS Arena. The team is accepting Kids Eat Smart approved cereals and monetary donations. The team members include, starting in the bottom row, from left: Quinn Gorman, Parker Legge, Tucker Lewis, Brent Dalton, Callum Hamlyn, Mac Murphy, Rowan Delaney, Tatum Chaytor, and Lawson Ryan; and in the top row, from left: Chase White, Jaysen Sheppard, Malcolm Andrews, Max Cornick, Ben Leonard, Cohen Molloy, and Colby Moore.
