Some 60 young athletes representing Paradise, CBS, Mount Pearl, and St. John’s descended upon the Kiwanis Field in Kelligrews this weekend for the 2023 Kiwanis Community Cup, hosted by the CBS Kiwanis Minor Baseball Association. After three days of competition between the five U11 teams, Sunday’s championship game came down to the St. John’s Caps and CBS Raiders, with the Raiders scoring an 8-3 victory and earning the Kiwanis Community Cup Banner.
