Town’s AV contract goes through the matrix

Canadian AV Inc. will hold the contract for the next two years to provide audio and visual technical services at special events organized by the Town of Conception Bay South.

Recreation committee chairperson Shelley Moores made the motion to award the work during council’s November 18 public meeting. The value of the contract is some $50,239, HST included, for the two years combined.

“Staff reviewed the submissions received for this RFP on the Request for Proposals for the Audio-Visual Services Agreement for special Events,” Moores said. “An evaluation was completed through a scoring matrix… I will say that it was very detailed and anyone who attended the Recreation meeting was very impressed with how the matrix was done.”
