Pioneers win Beaumont-Hamel Cup

The Queen Elizabeth High Pioneers was the top team in the girl’s division at the recent 8th annual Royal Newfoundland Regiment High School Memorial Hockey Tournament. The Pioneers won the Beaumont-Hamel Cup with a score of 7-4 over the Southern Shore’s Mobile Monarchs. O’Donel Patriots won the bronze medal with a score of 4-3 in overtime over the Holy Trinity Tigers.
