The Department of Fisheries and Land Resources, Fish and Wildlife Enforcement, is seeking the public’s assistance related to incidents involving the alleged killing of a moose in the Town of Stephenville and a caribou near the community of St. Shott’s.

Holyrood’s volunteer fire department is expanding its range of coverage to take in the old Witless Bay Line as far as the town limits of Bay Bulls and Witless Bay.

On November 15, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Ferryland RCMP received a report of a cabin break-in on Old Witless Bay Line.

It was a fairly short meeting with a very busy agenda as Bay Bulls council disposed of a boat load of business earlier this month.
