Holyrood council approves new subdivision

The Town of Holyrood has approved a 24-lot subdivision off Duff’s Road.

The subdivision will be serviced by town well and septic system. The town also approved the creation of temporary access to the property to dig test holes required under the groundwater assessment and reporting guidelines for subdivisions serviced by individual wells.

Councillor Sanda Crawley brought the motion forward during the June 2, and members of council present at the meeting voted in favour of the application. Mayor Laura Crawley, deputy mayor Michele Woodford, and councillor Steve Winsor were absent from the meeting.

The motion was approved with no further discussion.

Council also approved a number of permits for home repairs, garages, commercial site preparation, fences and greenhouses.
