Santa time

There were so many great photos of children meeting Santa Claus at the Conception Bay South Salvation Army’s fundraiser for the 11th Annual Riley Mercer Toy Drive that we were disappointed we couldn’t fit all of them in our print edition. So here are some more below, along with Letters to Santa that came in past our deadline from some special children. We forwarded them to the North Pole right away and Santa assured us that he received the letters in time.

Dear Santa : Can you believe it, Christmas time is here again. I’m really excited for this year. My name is Kiah, I’m 5 years old, in kindergarten and I love school so much. My teacher is Mr. Noonan. He is the best teacher ever and I hope you can bring him something nice. I have been a really good girl this year. I clean my room and help Mama Rose with the dishes. I would love a Barbie Camper with the purple slide, Magic Mixes, Clothes, and a few surprises. Please bring Mama Rose, my godmother Denika, Mom Ashley, “Uncle” Rod, Kali, the bestest Nanny Wadden ever and uncles James and Brad something really special. Oh please don’t forget my 2 kitty cats Jingles and Puss with some toys with feathers and most importantly please send poppy Wadden lots of hugs and kisses. We miss him so much. Thankyou for all my gifts last year. I will leave some milk and cookies by the tree for you.

Dear Santa

Hi, how are you all up in the North Pole? My name is Portia and I have been trying to be so good but you already know that because you’re just like my Aunt Rose and Nanny Wadden, you know and find out everything, ha ha. This year for Christmas I would love a vanity table, makeup, a gold ring and some prizes please. Thank you so much for all my gifts last year. Please be good to my dad, mom, my sissy Ellie, Raquel and the rest of my family. Have a safe flight. I will leave some treats by the tree for you.
