CBS treatment plant to get a once over

The wastewater treatment plant in CBS is about to get a good lookover.

Council has hired Jewer Bailey Consultants to conduct an assessment of the facility at a cost of $73,296 plus HST.

“We’re just starting the process, getting the consultants in and get a good assessment done of the plant,” said Ward 4 councillor Melissa Hardy, who chairs the Town’s engineering committee.

In other maintenance news, the Town has to replace the gaskets on the rink chiller and heat recovery system at the CBS Arena. The cost for the material and installation by Toromont Cimco is $43,750.
