Woodstock force main to get a look

By Mark Squibb

The Town of Paradise has contracted Stantec to complete an analysis of the force main between Lift Station 11, formerly known as the Woodstock Lift Station, and Lift Station 10.

Deputy Mayor Kimberley Street said the Town invited three companies to submit proposals for an analysis of the force main. Of the three, two submitted proposals.

Staff evaluated the two submissions and named Stantec the better choice. Street moved that council contract Stantec for the work at a cost of $20,965, HST included, and council unanimously approved the motion.

Following the analysis, Stantec will make recommendations for improvements. A similar study was conducted for Lift Station 10 in 2022.
