Queen Elizabth Regional High job fair

The latest job fair for high school students sponsored by Rotary Avalon Northeast drew a lot of interest at Queen Elizabth Regional High in Foxtrap on Tuesday. The job fair was originally scheduled for Holy Spirit High a few weeks ago but couldn’t go ahead that day when schools in CBS were closed because of a major water line break. Some 12 employers set up tables in the QE gym to accept resumes and chat with prospective employees. The employers included the Canadian Coast Guard, Jungle Jim’s, Town of Paradise, Town of CBS Parks Commission, Parsons & Sons Transportation, RBC, the YMCA, Trades NL, NL Health Services, CBDC Youth Ventures, King Photography, and Home Hardware.
