Please move that wreck
A burnt-out vehicle has been left on the side of the road, Route 81, between Colinet and Markland since last July.
It is a terrible eyesore in a popular camping and fishing area.
The provincial authorities say they can’t move it because the RCMP are investigating it.
The RCMP was contacted by a local council as well as concerned individuals and they say it’s under investigation.
Almost a year has passed. If the wreck does have some value as evidence, it needs to be moved inside. Parts of it have already been removed or fallen off. Otherwise, please coordinate your efforts and remove this eyesore. Wrecks in more urban areas are moved within hours, or at the most, days.
The neglect of this wreck on the side of the road does not speak well for any authorities.
