The annual ceremonial review for the 2562 Queen Elizabeth Royal Canadian Army Cadets happened to fall on Mother’s Day weekend this year, so the officers who run the corps thought it might be a nice idea to surprise each of the cadets’ moms with a rose. Sargeant Cohen Drake in turn received a loving smooch from his mom Penny Rideout.
