The Town of Conception Bay South, TD Bank, and volunteers from the community participated in TD Tree Days October 14 as part of a continent-wide initiative to plant 30,000 trees in September and October. Pictured here is a team planting a collection of evergreens on a patch of dirt on the Gateway Trail off Legion Road. The initiative’s long-term goal is to plant one million trees by 2030.
