Molson/Coors CBS Masters Softball League finish up 2023 season

The Molson/Coors CBS Masters Softball League finished up its 2023 season this month under warm and mostly sunny conditions as Plumbing Plus Ltd. defeated Triware/Newlander Meats 10-5 in the championship final played on the weekend of September 16. Plumbing Plus also finished first overall in the regular season. The other semi-finalists were Stafford’s Welding and Auto Connect. The Most Sportsmanlike Player for 2023 was Steve Batten of Auto Connect. The members of Plumbing Plus (above photo) include, starting in the back row from left: Steve Taylor, John Mansfield, Gerry Mercer, Blair Benoit, Tony Pomeroy, Dave Smith, Gary Humby, Trent Hamlyn, Rod Cable; and in the front row, from left: Gord Lundrigan, Chris Mercer, Roy Petten, Gerald Mercer, Chris Butler and Rod O’Brien. Missing from the photo are Rudel Randell and Noel Butler.
