CBS cleanup celebration

The weather didn’t cooperate enough to allow the annual Three-Hour Challenge community cleanup in Conception Bay South last week, but the celebration at the CBS Arena that always follows the event went ahead anyway and drew a good crowd. Among them was Taylor Guy, 6, a student at St. George’s Elementary in Long Pond, who enjoyed moving to the tunes of musicians Dominic Greene and Brett Vey, who compose the duo Saltwater Strings. The clean up itself is set to go ahead this Saturday, weather permitting.
