Questions for new head of Long Pond Harbour Authority

Dear Editor:

Nice resume (re: ‘Long Pond’s new skipper sees expansion on horizon’, The Shoreline April 6). But, curious, and I say this with respect to the Capt. (Mark Turner) and editor – albeit in a satirical as opposed to a sarcastic context….. So, do “the people living near the pond” include an incorporated entity dedicated to see that the development is done responsibly? And numerous formal cases before appeal boards and the Supreme Court of Newfoundland are what defines a “ruckus?” And a 12 acre infill of the West estuary is a “wharf extension?”

So, what does the new staff consider “land” and “water?” Critical definitions for sea going vessels.
