The Royal Canadian Legion Br# 64 in Holyrood July 1st ceremonies are as follows: The parade will leave the Holyrood Community Center at 10:30 a.m. with the wreath laying taking place at 11:00 a.m. at the Star of the Sea. Anyone laying a wreath must have their information provided by Saturday, June 30th at 6:00 p.m. Please call 229-4041 after 4 p.m. daily. Wreaths must be dropped off by 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the Cenotaph. Any late arrivals will have to be placed at the end of the ceremony. Also, there will be music and snacks at the Legion from 2 to 5 p.m.

The Holyrood Volunteer Fire Department is having Chase the Ace on Tuesday nights 7-9 p.m. with the draw at 9:15 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 64 Holyrood. The Royal Canadian Legion is hosting a 50/50 draw at the same time each week.
The Conception Harbour open mic show is held on the third Sunday of each month at the Parish Hall next to the Jamie Murphy Memorial. Doors open at 1:00 p.m., the music starts at 2:00 p.m. Join the other performers or just tap your feet to that great old country beat.
