The Big 99
Clara Oliver of St. John’s celebrated her 99th birthday on Monday, September 23, with a game of cards and a lunch with the Conception Bay South Age Friendly Club. Oliver can play cards with the best and knows her cards as well as anyone. Oliver, centre, was joined by her daughter Donna Gruchy, club organizer Wilfred Bartlett, and, right, her sister Audrey Coffin, 96, who is also an excellent hand at cards. Age Friendly Club Photo
