Paradise extends vending machine contract

Vending machines at the Double Ice Complex in Paradise will be stocked for another year to come.

The Town inked a contract with Browning Harvey in January 2025 for vending machine services at the Double Ice Complex. That agreement is set to expire in January.

During the October 6 public meeting, councillor Jennifer Hiscock put forward a motion to extend the agreement by one year.

Hiscock said council was glad to ensure that vending machines are stocked, particularly during the busy winter season, and council approved the motion unanimously.

The Town has budgeted $10,000 in revenue from vending machine commissions.
