Grand opening for new Paradise park well attended

Among the 50 or so people who started using the park right away was the Goulding family consisting of Kyle and Laura and their two-year-old Eleanor who tried her hand at basketball as family pet Remi, a Portuguese water dog, romped nearby.
The Grand Opening of the new community park on Trenton Drive in Paradise was well attended September 13, with the multi-court, frisbee golf nets, and cornhole boards getting lots of play as young families and seniors gathered to watch council proclaim it officially open. “This space has been transformed into something truly beautiful, and we’re so pleased to see residents and families already enjoying it,” Deputy Mayor Kimberley Street said. The multi-court can be used for basketball, pickleball and tennis. The park also has a large grassy area and wrought iron picnic tables and benches. “You can see how this space has been designed as a welcoming and accessible place for people of all ages to gather, play and spend time together outdoors,” said Street, who thanked Town staff, Mills & Wright Architects and Cadillac Services for bringing the park to life.
