Paradise hosts 10th annual Polka Dot Trot

The 10th annual Polka Dot Trot took place at Paradise Park on Sunday, September 27th. The five-kilometer community walk around Octagon Pond included over 1,400 trotters who walked in solidarity with loved ones impacted by cancer. Participants were given a choice of coloured T-shirts to represent respective cancers, with lavender being the symbol of all cancers. Combined with the trot held in Corner Brook, over $700,000 was raised in support of the Cancer Care Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador. Among the pink shirted participants were, from left: Lillia, Sheena, Leah and Haley Snook, who trotted this year in memory of their late sister and daughter, Dallas Snook. Leah Snook photos
