Ms. Frizzle and her Magic School Bus got a lot of attention when they were spotted in the parking lot of Powell’s Supermarket in Bay Roberts recently. Operated by Bursey’s Bus Service and decorated to look like the bus in the children’s show of the same name, the conveyance takes Ms. Frizzle, played by bus driver Debbie Warford, and her lizard Liz, to community and charity events. Ms. Frizzle was returning from an event in Upper Island Cove and had stopped at Powell’s to do some shopping when people started running up for a picture. Among them was Dorrie Power, who had been out for a drive with her four-month-old kitten, Ralphie. There was no word on how Ralphie and Liz got along. Local Journalism Reporter Olivia Bradbury photo
