Salvation Army Christmas Kettle

David Kean, 5, of Paradise, was the first person to drop money into the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle at Dominion Supermarket in Long Pond, CBS for the launch of the annual fundraising campaign. While all hands were enjoying a round of carols and music by the Salvation Army band, Kean got $10 from his dad Daniel who was singing along with his 8 month old daughter Maria in his arms. Kean’s generous example was quickly followed by Major Claudette Pilgrim and her children Haven, 4, and Leni, 2. The church is hoping to raise $95,000 in donations in CBS this year.
