Thank you for The Shoreline

Dear Editor:

Since the passing of The Telegram there has been a void for people like myself who like something to read while having tea.

Now that is over because of your paper. I look forward to getting one every Thursday at Piper’s in the Village Mall. These papers are snatched up pretty quickly.

I would love to see them possibly go in a couple of coffee shops such as Rocket Bakery (Mount Pearl), Coffee Matters (corner of Gower and Military) and Jumping Bean (Topsail Rd), to name a few.

Editor’s Note: Thank you, Michael, that’s very kind to say. We distribute some 13,000 copies of the paper now in about 175 locations from St. John’s to Victoria next to Carbonear, plus down the Southern Shore and one side of St. Mary’s Bay. We run out of copies at nearly every location, and we just don’t have enough copies to add more locations right now. But if we manage to get a press, we’ll be able to print more copies. Also, our understanding is The Telegram is still being printed once a week, in Ontario, and delivered by mail to some 1,600 – 1,800 subscribers.
