‘I support the fence’

Dear Editor:
I read The Shoreline regularly and I would like to comment on the Bay Bulls Council’s decision regarding the privacy fence for the resident living along the Long Pond walking trail.
I would like to congratulate the council for providing the people of Bay Bulls and surrounding area a walking trail that no doubt has been and will continue to be used by many. It looks great!
However, I agree with councillor Ethan Williams that the person/family who owns the property by Long Pond deserve a privacy fence. This house is there over 50 years without anyone invading their privacy. They deserve the privacy of their back garden, and for less than twenty-one thousand dollars the only resident/family of your community that has been impacted by your walking trail can have it.
Come on Council, have another look at this; don’t spoil this for one resident/family while you have accomplished so much for so many.
