The usual suspects were among the first to hit the streets and sidewalks to round up litter and trash. They started outside their den next to the Town Hall. From left, the crew included Wade Dicks, Jennifer Walsh, Donna Reddick, Jennifer Hutchings, and Dave Arnott. The cleanup was sponsored again this year by The Shoreline News and Tim Horton’s. Ever Green Recycling and Marcus Contracting also came on board with sponsorships. Tai Chi members Humphrey Dye and Marilyn Bell tackled a section of road on the border between Topsail and Chamberlains. “We’re getting less than we normally would get,” said Reid of the trash being taken. “Which is good, I guess,” added Dye.
