Town will cover most of the green space costs at Market Ridge

The Market Ridge subdivision near Kenmount Road in Paradise will soon have a green space thanks to an approval at last week’s council meeting.

Prior to the meeting, there had been no specific plan to develop the three plots of land that are known as Linear Park.

Councillor Patrick Martin explained the scope of work includes excavating, grading, sodding, and hydroseeding.

“All the work will be completed in house (Paradise Town staff), apart from hydroseeding,” Martin said.

The costs of the project will be covered by the current landscaping budget for this year.
