Ye Olde Town of Paradise was the place to be late last month. Knights, wizards, princesses, pirates, barbarians, peasants, rogues, and paladins from all the realm over gathered at the Paradise Park festival grounds for the Newfoundland and Labrador Renaissance Festival. There were ceremonies, sparring demonstrations, story times, treasure hunts, and more. Local merchants also had a chance to sell their wares.
