Boys U15 NL Selects fastpitch team

SILVER SELECTS—The Boys U15 NL Selects fastpitch team, many of whose members hail from The Shoreline’s coverage area, earned silver medals at the Canadian Fastpitch Nationals held in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan this August. The team finished the round-robin play with an impressive 4-2 record, then went on a winning streak to secure their place in the gold medal game against the ON3 Tara Longhorns. All told, 10 teams competed over the five-day tournament, which ran from August 9-13. Three boys from the team were named to the tournament’s all-star team, which was made up of the top 12 players in the tournament.
