THE GIRLS OF SUMMER—When it comes to athletics, there’s no rule that only boys can have all the fun. Female softball players have also been enjoying this summer’s great weather. In the left photo, the Conception Bay Centre Under 15 Team captured both the Fastpitch Provincial Championships recently, while the team in the right photo, also a CB Centre Under 15 squad with many of the same young ladies, won the Under 15 division title at the Fastpitch Moss Memorial Tournament.
