Players on the Mobile Monarchs Grade 9 girls basketball team are proud silver medalists following a weekend of tough basketball competition at Brookside Intermediate in Portugal Cove – St. Phillips. The Monarchs went toe-to-toe against St. Peter’s Junior High in the gold medal game, but fell to the Mount Pearl school, who claimed the Girls 9A provincial banner for the third year running.
