Paradise council asks residents to help set new strategic plan

The Town of Paradise is calling on its residents to help prepare a new strategic plan to guide council’s direction of the community for the next five years.

The current plan, Your Paradise-Plan 2022, was created in 2019 and was given a life cycle of three years.

“The Town’s strategic plan is an important document that guides council and staff in determining priorities, work plans, and action items for Paradise,” Mayor Dan Bobbett. “It reflects the Town’s vision and where we want to be in the coming years. We look forward to building on the achievements of Your Paradise-Plan 2022 and setting our path for the next five years.”

A public consultation process is underway to take stock of residents’ priorities and ideas about the future of Paradise. Bobbett said residents, community groups, and businesses can get involved by completing an online survey or by participating in online or in-person workshops.

“We’re excited to hear feedback from our residents, community groups, business owners, developers and other stakeholders to help us update the strategic plan and make sure it continues to address concerns and help to support the needs of our local communities,” said the mayor.
