The CBA Chamber of Commerce had a good turnout for its International Women’s Day event at the Manuels River Centre earlier this past month. Some 50 businesses from Marysvale to Paradise were represented at the session, which included a panel discussion in the morning as well as “an uplifting presentation” in the afternoon from the 7 and 10 year old owners of Emma and Katie’s Candy Shop, said the CBA’s executive director, Julia Bloomquist.
