Local Tim Horton’s franchisee Eric Schibler thanks the Assante CBR Junior Renegades and their fans last Saturday after being named an Honorary Renegade during a ceremony at CBS Arena in Kelligrews. Among those on hand for the ceremony were, from left, Renegades representative and the evening’s emcee, Jim Clifford, Nick Hillier of the St. John’s Junior Hockey League, hockey phenomenon and fellow Honourary Renegade Sarah Davis, CBS Mayor Darrin Bent, and CBS councillor Christine Butler. Honourary Renegades Ford Metcalfe and Scott Parsons also helped welcome Schibler into the fold.
