Villanova principal wins senior job at NLTA

Villanova Junior High School principal Dale Lambe has been declared elected as Vice-President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association for 2023-25 after a province-wide electronic vote.

Lambe begins his two-year term of office on August 1, 2023. He is the current President of the School Administrators’ Special Interest Council.

The positions of NLTA President and Vice-President have been elected by province-wide vote among the NLTA membership since 2003. The vote for NLTA Vice-President took place during the week of December 12-16.

Trent Langdon was declared elected as the NLTA President for 2023-25 by acclamation. The remaining members of the 2023-25 Provincial Executive Council will be elected by the delegates to the NLTA Biennial General Meeting to be held next year.
