Santa Claus brought good weather for the Conception Bay South Christmas parade earlier this month as crowds lined the road between Villanova Junior High and the Town Hall to take in the spectacle of floats, marchers and other participants. Councillor Gerard Tilley played a key role again this year helping Santa get to the parade route on time. He also asked The Shoreline to pass on a special message: that everyone treat each other kindly this season and throughout the New Year, be grateful for life’s small pleasures and many blessings, and to make sure no one you know gets behind the wheel, handlebars or sleigh if they’ve had anything stronger than syrup to drink.
