PC incumbent Keith Hutchings won’t be running again for the PC Party in Ferryland district, but there’s no lack of candidates looking to stand in his place.

Eighteen-year-old Nathan Corrigan of Trepassey is not stopping. He has been an honours student all throughout his school years. He has been heavily involved in every aspect of Stella Maris School life including sports, celebrations, as well as Lions Club speak-outs, Peace Poster contests, and the Foster Families contest, all of which saw him emerge as winner. He has also been involved with the Regional Math Competition.

Although it isn’t the outcome they hoped for, members of St. Bernard’s school council are preparing for some big changes, this time affecting Grade 5 students.
