Life Force photograph gets noticed, earns award

A picture snapped by CBS photographer Madonna Scott has garnered accolades on the VIEWBUG site.

The picture, called An Explosion Of Life Force Energy, has won a Contender Award on the site, as well as nominations for Nature Uncovered and Fresh Captures. It has also two Peer Awards, one for superb composition and one as a top choice.

Scott captured the picture of crashing waves against the rocks along the Kelligrews T’Railway at Pond Road using her Motorola phone.

“I waited, and waited and waited for this perfect shot,” Scott said, adding she started using her Motorola phone to capture pictures 10 years ago for a Subaru contest. “I love to capture the light through the darkness. I love to view through my lens with a childlike wonderment of nature at its finest.”

Scott said she enjoys photographing eagles, birds, whales, icebergs and chasing rainbows and waterfalls. She is also a Reiki healer and writer who writes meditations, positive affirmations and her memoirs. She shared this with The Shoreline:
