PARADISE

St. Edward’s Parish, 2696 Topsail Road, CBS/ Paradise, will be having a Fall Fair on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. in St. Edward’s Parish Hall. There will be many events: Goods Spin Wheel, Crafts, Baked Goods, Cake Auction, Bottle Table and other events.  There will also be a door prize. Drop by for an enjoyable afternoon.

CONCEPTION BAY SOUTH

The C.L.B. Youth Organization September Registration. Are you between the ages of 5-19? Looking to make new friends and develop new skills while having fun? Come join our vibrant community of young people who are shaping the future. The C.L.B. offers opportunities for personal growth, leadership development and community engagement. Music for MS Research — Musical Acts, Silent Auction and Door Prizes. October 24th at Shenanigans in CBS, profits will be going directly to support multiple sclerosis research at MUN. Donations at the door $10.

The Kin Club of Conception Bay South will be holding their annual Coats for Community collection at Dominion Parking Lot, CBS on October 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We accept both children and adult clothing, hats, mitts, scarves, etc. All donations kindly accepted.

Flea Market.  Giant flea market at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 20 Rectory Rd. Topsail, CBS. October 25, 9 A.M. – 1 P.M. Admission $2.00.

Chase the Ace in CBS, Mondays 4 pm-8 pm, Shenanigans Bar and Grill – 538 Conception Bay Highway, CBS. Cash Sale only. Lucky ticket holder must be present within 15 minutes of draw. Jackpot continues to grow, currently over $6,000. All proceeds go to support the local youth Scouts movement and Camp St. George.

Worsley Park 50 Plus Club. Come join us!  Every Wednesday – Game of 120’s card game.  Doors open at 1 p.m., $5.00 per week just for cards. The Kiwanis Club of Kelligrews is offering a resource centre for new Canadians, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Assistance with job search, resumes, locating housing and more. Join us at 925 CBS Highway.

Aurora Women’s Choir are accepting virtual auditions. We want to hear your voice and are looking for Female-identified singers who sing Soprano and Alto. Coastal Sounds Community Choir are accepting new Members.  No Experience necessary, all are welcome.  Come and join a warm community who want to hear your voice.  Rehearsals are Wednesday Evenings from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., in CBS Starting in September. ST. JOHN’S

The St. John’s Retired Citizens Association on Bennett Avenue have some spaces available in the senior’s choir on Wednesdays at 12:15, low impact exercise group on Tuesdays 4:30 – 5:30 and Nia ageless grace movement exercise group on Thursdays from 3:15 – 4:15.
