Retired Canadian Armed Members and former Honourary Colonel of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, Wayne Miller, right, along with members of the Royal Canadian Legion hosted riders from the Rolling Barrage at the CBS War Memorial in Long Pond on July 27. Miller outlined the history of the cenotaph and the significance of the statues and plaques in the memorial. The Rolling Barrage consists of former Canadian Armed Forces members who ride across the country in a motorcycle convoy to raise awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. In CBS, the riders laid wreaths at the cenotaph and later held a ceremonial tire dip in the water at the ATV launch in Seal Cove before heading to Branch 60 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Kelligrews for a meal.
