ATV riders weren’t the only people celebrating National Trails Day last Saturday with a run along the old railbed from Indian Pond, in CBS to Avondale and back. Also trailing along were, from left, Mikayla Lee and Landon Webber, who were riding the beautiful and intelligent Midnight, and Tianna Webber with the more easygoing Cookie Dough. Tianna, who lives and keeps her horses in Kelligrews, is a frequent user of the T’railway with her horses. She said the animals are never bothered by the off-road machines. “ATVers are some of the most respectful people,” said Webber, adding the horses get more trouble from cars and trucks on the road.
