Holyrood thankful for fire equipment donations

Holyrood councillor Bruce King expressed his gratitude to a number of different neighbouring fire departments during last weeks public council meeting.
“About a month ago, we asked if other fire departments had some equipment they would like to donate for the junior firefighting program, and we had an excellent response,” said King, who extended his thanks to the CBS, Spaniards’ Bay, and Clarenville fire departments.
King summarised that the department is well on it’s way developing the program.
The department hopes to begin recruitment in September.
