When the children’s mom, Andrea, submitted this picture with their letter to Ol’ St. Nick for this year’s Christmas edition of The Shoreline, we couldn’t resist putting it on the front page. For many people, and the world in general, 2023 was the kind of year that made you want to scream sometimes, so you have to find the humour in life and grin and bear it anyway.
