Two culverts on Neary Road in Paradise are set to be ripped out and replaced with Dynamic Engineering Limited handling the engineering and design services for the work.
At last week’s Paradise council meeting, councillor Deborah Quilty explained the project will align with the Town’s storm water management plan and will be completed in 2024.
Dynamic will be paid some $24,780 for its work. The contract includes a design fee and a cash allowance for site investigation services.
The work will be combined with existing water and sewer projects under a single construction tender.
The motion to approve the contract was passed unanimously, and without discussion.
Money for the Neary Road project is coming from funds obtained from the federal government under its Investing in Canada Infrastructure Funding (ICIP) Plan.
