Nathan Bartlett of the Holy Spirit High Falcons has the ball firmly in his possession during his team’s match against the Queen Elizabeth Pioneers at Topsail Turf last Friday morning. Teammate Ryan Hodder patrols closely beside while James Perry runs in the background. The game was part of the 2023-2024 Boys 4A High School Provincial Soccer Championships. Holy Spirit went on to beat Queen Elizabeth with a score of 5-2, and eventually fought their way to the championship game against Gonzaga High of St. John’s beating the townies 1-0.
