Nolan (left) and Kayson Poisson enjoyed a frosty treat at Paradise Park this past Saturday. Although several SunSplash events had to be cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather, there was still plenty of fun to be had on Saturday, as local musicians took to the stage while food vendors such as Crabby’s BBQ Shack and Texas Rangers BBQ slung their wares.
The first-class local music along with the aroma of barbeque made up for the cold wind, as (from left) Millie Brown, Don Fry, Mary Ryan, and Vince Ryan could attest.
The foursome had plans to return that evening for the ticketed Kitchen Party Show featuring Larry Foley and Mike Hanrahan, Siochana, and the Masterless Men. Mark Squibb photos
